This year my mom, her husband and his grand-daughter were with us for the 4th. We asked around to find out about a fire works display but all were 30 to 45 mineutes away and we didn't feel like dealing with grouchy kids and 4th of July traffic. So instead we stayed home and we took the kids to see Wall.E.

The kids enjoyed the movie and taking pictures in
front of the billboard.
After the movie we went home and relaxed then we went to the park.
At the park we raced,
played soccer and catch and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Later we had a BBQ and the kids played in the
pool and the slip 'n' slide.
Madisen and Brooke played really well together.
They were like two peas in a pod.
All in all it was a great 4th of July. My kids missed lighting their own fire works(we are usually in Wyoming of Idaho for the 4th.) but they still had a good time.

To funny.. Trent and his or should I say Jaden's collections that Trent does for him. Glad to see you guys had good weather it was so mucky out here yuck. I love the slip and slide.

Ya, it stinks that we can't do our own fireworks here, but that didn't stop my neighbors from putting on a fantastic firework show that ended with the cops telling us to put them away.
It looks like you guys had fun. I still need to take my kids to see Walle!!
