Coincident???
We have some friends who are always in the hospital. They moved to the Desert about a 1 1/2 ago and in that short time they have been in the emergancy rooms for several different things. Broken coaller bone, foot cut open, Pneumonia, broken toes and many other things. We have always given them a hard time about it. Laughing and jokeing who goes to the emergancy room that many times???? The problem is now their bad luck has rubbed off on us. Trent was in the emergancy room with kidney stones, then I fell down the stairs with Tatum fractureing her femuer. And when I thought we were in the clean Jaden goes and stabs Madisen in the eye with a piece of paper. Yes, It's true!!! Now she is not in the hospital, I'm keeping an eye on it and it seems to be okay. She is finally able to open it. But I was really scared for a while. And as I was sitting with her in the back of the car coming home from Baskin and Robbins, I thought What else is going to happen to me? Why, do my kids keep getting injured? Next thing I know Jaden is going to fall and crack his head open. I don't know if I can handle any more accidents. I"ve had my share. Then I thought dang those Billman's their bad luck is rubbing off on me. So I'm wondering if I should still be friends with them. Hmmmm!!!! J/K, but one does have to wonder if the bad luck is contagious.

I think you should stay away from those people. They're bad luck is running off.
But they come in threes... so I think you're good for a while. Is that comforting?
I know exactly how you feel. We continue to have our issues....rear ended in the Acura, then ice falling thru the windshield of the Acura, then flooding on our main floor from the neighbor's frozen pipe burst and now something electrical is going on in the Mini. I'm tired of driving rental cars. But none of the above are things we did! At least there is insurance! I wonder if it'll ever end. I don't know how much more I can take of this! It seems to be never ending! If what Holly says is true about it coming in threes then I'm overdue or on round 2! Go figure. Hope Madisen's eye is ok.
I hope I'm good for a while, although Ariane you don't give me any hope. :)
You've just TERRIFIED me like you wouldn't believe. When am I going to be THAT mom? The one that can handle things like a stabbed eyeball. I lose a little blood in my legs just typing that. I can't imagine I'd have the strength to load up three kids and drive to the emergency room. I have to look away when Sophia has a hang nail and looks like she might pick at it.
I just literally shuddered as I typed that.
