This past week Madisen brought home a reading log from school. If she reads 6 hours before February 20 she will get a free ticket to Magic Mountain. Ever since than she has been wanting to read everyday. It's great, up until this, she has not really had much of a desire to read. She can do it, but it's not something she enjoys. I've struggled with trying to get her to read more, but she just hasn't been interested. Little did I know that a free ticket to an amusement park would work. I wish it was Disneyland instead but Magic Mountain will due.
Jaden decided to make forts all over the house this past week. He had one in my room, one in the family room and one in his room. He made them all himself and was very proud of them. I made the mistake of taking the one in my room down on Tuesday and he was very upset. Needless to say I had to put it back up.
Tatum got to try her very first Oreo. Daddy decided to give her a treat. She loved it of course. Tatum also has a big day coming up on Thursday. Her cast is coming off. Yippy! I can't wait! 3 more days!!!

Wooooo. 3 more days. How many until you look back on this month fondly? I bet Tatum is going to take off the minute she figures out she can.
We need Jaden and Carson to build a fort together. Carson is going through the same phase, everywhere he goes he builds a fort. it's funny!
Yeah!!! I am so excited for Tatum! I would love to see the first look on Tatum's face when she realizes the cast is off. You should take your video camera...this is a BIG event!:)
I'm hoping she didn't smear those black cookies on the cast. And take more pics of the cast because she will dig it when she gets older!
