Tatum update

Something is wrong with my blog. I had a whole blog about Tatum and her cast, with pictures and it got deleted. Hmmmm. Celia, I think you are the only one who saw it because your comment goes along with that blog. I don't know what happened. I

But for those of you who missed it. I took Tatum to the doctor on Thursday, her leg is healing very nicely. And the brake is far enough from the growth plate that her leg will not grow longer than the other. But, she has to be in it for 3 more weeks, which sucks!!! The doctor who put the cast on told me 4 weeks total and now I have to wait 5 to 6. UHHHHHHH I want the thing off. It is a horrible cast. It is a pain the the behind to diaper. There is a hole that I have to stuff a diaper into and it leakes at night and it stinks. Anyway....enough about the cast.

Today was the first day back to school. Yeah, I'm glad to be back in the swing of things. Both kids had school today so my plan was to do some running around. Well, as you know it rained. I HATE RAIN!!!!! So, as I was doing my running around, I got wet, but more importantly Tatum, who has a terrible cast and is hard to hold, got wet. I couldn't just hold her into the stores. I had to get the stroller out because I can't keep her in her seat and she can't sit in the cart. Can I tell what a hassel the dumb thing is. O wait, I'm suppose to be done venting. Anyway. My life will be so much better in 3 weeks.

I really feel for you. Seriously. That cast looks like hell itself. That poor baby! And poor YOU! How's Tatum in dealing with it? Does it bother her as much as you or is she used to it by now? What have they said it will be like when it's finally off?

At least it's cute and pink. That's important.

Tatum is dealing with it really well actually, I think it's been harder on me than her. She is starting to get a little tired of being in the same position. I'm hoping that she doesn't get to far behind as far as crawling and sitting. But only time will tell.

If you don't like the rain, you should never move to Seattle!!
