Madisen has 2 days left of school. It feels like this year flew by. My little 1st grader is growing up. Next year she will be in 2nd grade and it kind of makes me sad. I love that she is growing up and learning new things but, at the same time, it's hard to let the little Madisen go. She's grown so much this year. She is a full blown reader now and she is enjoying it more and more. She loves to read the Junie B. Jones books. She's also telling time now, it's nice because if I'm not close to the clock I can ask her what time it is and she will tell me. Sometimes I forget and ask Jaden and he looks at me like I'm nuts.
Madisen is such a sweet little girl. She loves her brother and sister and is always looking out for them. It makes me so happy when I walk into a room and Madisen and Jaden have built a fort or have pulled out toys and are playing together. I'm grateful for my wonderful first born child. She has such a sweet spirit. I that I was chosen to be her mother. She has taught me so much.

I know what you mean, it is so bitter sweet to have them grow up. Yet you want them to grow and learn so much too. Just think in less than 5 years she will be a teenager and less than 8 years she will be driving. Okay I will stop.
Very cute pictures. It is so scary to think of them just growing up. Second grade is huge!
