Happy Annivesary

To Celebrate our Anniversary Trent and I went to San Fransisco.  We stayed at the Westin in Union Square.  It was so nice to get away.  We Celebrated a week early because we were going to go to Trent's mom and because that is when we could get a sitter.  The trip was fun because we did all the touristy things.  I had never been to San Fransisco before we moved to Bwood.  We rode the Trolley from Union Square to Fisherman's Wharf.  It was really cool to see the city and the old buildings.

When we got to Fisherman's Wharf we ate at Bubba Gump and then we went to the Aquarium.  Trent enjoyed touching all sea creatures.  I touched them too.  :)

After that we walked over to catch our boat to Alcatraz.  We went inside the prison.  It was neat to see inside and to learn about some of the things that happened.  The view of the city was very beautiful from the island.

One morning Trent got up early and went for a run while I slept.  He enjoyed his run.  These are the pictures of Lombard Street.

We also went to Little Italy and ate at the Stinking Rose, which was recommended by one of Trent's clients.  The food was really good.  The building below is where Joe Dimaggio's funeral service was at.  Joe Dimaggio grew up in Little Italy.  Which I did not know but learned when we got there.  Trent is big into baseball, or he was when he was a kid.  He has LOTS of baseball cards from the 80's and one of his most prized possessions is his Joe Dimaggio autographed baseball.  He got it from Joe Dimaggio when he was young.  So as you can imagine he also have a book about Mr. Dimaggio.  Hence the history lesson on Joe.

The day that he went for a run he had to stop and see the playground that Joe Dimaggio grew up playing at.

On the last day of our visit to San Fran, we walked around Union Square and shopped.  We also went to China Town.  We had a lot of fun.  I can't believe I've been married for 9 years.  It seems like just yesterday that we were getting married.

I am in LOVE with that city. It's where Ross proposed to me, on some cool cliff overlooking the GG bridge. How fun for you guys! Happy anniversary!

Awwwww....I'm all nostalgic right now. I love that I can look at those pictures and know exactly each spot personally. How fun for you to do all those things together! (In each place I was pusing a stroller, so I can only imagine how nice it would be to have a date trip there!) Happy Anniversary! Oh, and thanks for the history lesson. We spent a lot of time in that area and I didn't know anything about Joe D. We even got a private tour of the church from the Father and it was so cool. My kids were a bit freaked out because it was so dark and quiet.
