One year ago today Tatum Marie Homec was born. We were expecting her early because I have Placenta Issues, but almost 5 weeks early was a surprise!! She was healthy and strong and left the hospital the next day. We were so excited to have our new little baby girl.

Trent got a new job so he was getting ready to start traveling, this birth could not have come at a better time. I was worried that Trent would miss the birth because he would be gone. My body new and so did Tatum how much I needed to have my husband there when I had my baby.
She has been a lot of work. She was very colicky for the 1st 5 months, and then she would not nap for anything. But she has been worth the stress, and sleepless nights. Now that she is a year she sleeps through the night. :) Takes 2 1 to 1 1/2 hour naps!(This is a very recent thing) And plays very well.
She is not crawling because of her 5 week stint in a full body cast, but she is very close. She is scooting all over the place. As of 2 days ago she found that opening the cupboard and pulling out the movies is a very fun activity. She also likes to push buttons on the DVD player.

Holy cow I can't believe she is one. I remember thinking that I wish it was me having my baby instead of knowing I had 7 more months to go. Happy Birthday Tatum. I also know what you mean by saying it is bitter sweet to have her grow up knowing that she is the last 1 year old you will have, it's hard to really know that to be true. I feel that way with Macyn.
I'm sad FOR you because I'll be hitting the one year milestone next month. It's bitter-sweet. But one year olds are so much fun! It's one of my favorite stages.
She's such a beautiful baby.
Happy Birthday Tatum! I love that name. She is so adorable.
Wow, you both made it thru the first year!
Happy B-day Tatum! Did you do a 1 Day to 1? Too funny!
Tatum is such a cutie pie! That is so awesome that she was healthy and okay to go home at 5 weeks early! I am so glad she is finally sleeping for you. I love nap time! My heart felt sad that you were sad about her being the last 1 year old. Now you can enjoy them growing up and be in a good stage of life! :)
Happy Birthday, Tatum! I can't believe it's been a year. So much has happened. I feel the same way about Avery but our kids are in such fun stages right now, I kind of want to keep them all where they are now. Those are such cute pictures of her...what a doll! Hope to see you again soon.
