Our tradition for our kids 1st birthday is to have a Family party. When we lived in the Desert that meant, Grandpa Homec and Raquel, Grandma Anny, Grandma Ili, Grandpa Park, Uncles Jace, Braden, Taylor, Tyson and Colby and Jacob. And Uncle Kiko and Amanda and Gavin. None of those people were in attendance at Tatum's 1st birthday. Instead we invited some friends over for cake and ice cream to celebrate our little 1 year olds' Birthday.

string that goes under the hat.
The other tradition is to put the cake by the
baby and see what they do. Tatum went for
the balloons. She didn't even touch the cake.
unless you count her toes that got into
the cake while she was playing with the
balloons.
