I have never done anything for my kids for St. Patty's day. It was never something that was done when I was a kid so I never thought any different of it. Then, I moved to Northern California and met people who actually had leprechaun's visit their houses'. My kids even went as far as asking why the leprechaun's didn't come to our house. I gave some reason that worked, or so I thought, for a while. I have never forgiven these friends for introducing the idea to my kids. After this year I curse them even more. This year on the eve of St. Patty's day the kids really kept asking about the leprechaun's and even wrote him a note. I tried to remind them that the leprechaun never comes but they just weren't having it. Maybe, they thought, he would come to Grandmas.....
Well guess who came....
The clue said:
Laddie & Lassie go there ye to the first flower
that ye see. There for you is a little clue!
The picture for clue #3 is missing, but it said:
Top of the day and hooray!
Go up the steps 10+4 and one ye'll find by the door!
This one said:
Down the steps again ye'll go.
Down the hallway and into thee cold
There find ye thee "pot o' gold"
Top of the mornin' to you hooray! The treasure
you found now turn around,
go find the Irish cream the leprechaun's thumb
turned green
The kids had a great time! Now guess who has to come every year....
