Idaho

My kids are having their Spring Break. Spring Break is 2 weeks and in my opinion way too long. I have lots of things to say on the subject but will leave them for another post. This year we decided to head to Idaho and visit my mom for a week. We had a lot of fun.

Feeding the ducks

my mom took the kids for walks everyday that was not raining. Which turned out to be about 3 times. Madisen and Jaden loved it. Tatum, of course did not. She has major anxiety when it comes to animals. If it comes anywhere near her she has a huge melt down.

Papa Dave

Tatum loves to read. Her favorite past time is to put her babies to bed so that she can read them stories. Papa Dave was trying to take a nap one day and Tatum went and found him and started reading to him.

Aunt Brooke and Paisley came for a few days too. Tatum enjoyed bossing Paisley around and telling her everything that she was not allowed to do. Jaden enjoyed chasing Paisley around.

We also went to see Rango and took the kids to Chuck E Cheese. It rained a lot so we had to get creative with in door activities.

Boise Zoo

Grandma and Papa Dave took us to the Zoo. It was fun to see all the animals and enjoy a day without rain.

Cousins

My cousins live not far from my mom so we went to see them a couple of times. It was nice to see everyone and catch up. It has been way to long. I have 3 cousins and my Aunt and Uncle who live in Merridan. 2 of the cousins have kids. Below are our kids:

Tatum, Madisen, Zoe, Jorden, Josh, Brenden, Jaden and Cameron...
Missing from the picture is Austin, he was on a camp out.

Snow Day!

The kids begged me to take them to the snow. We were not prepared. I didn't bring jackets or boots so we had to dig up what we could. We made it work and the kids had a great time.

Tatum found a slide to play on while the big kids threw snowballs
at Papa Dave.

Birds of Prey

We ended up staying an extra day due to weather. So we took the kids to see the Birds of prey. There weren't many to see, but the kids enjoyed throwing rocks into the canyon.

It was a great trip. Thank you Grandma and Papa Dave.
