He want's that lion book!

I really felt the need to tell this story so I can remember it.  Yesterday morning Trent told me that he wanted a book on Andrew Jackson called The American Lion.  No big deal I put it in my "bank" and went on with my day.  Then yesterday afternoon about 8 hours later, I was at Target with my kids.  I thought it would be a good time for the kids to pick up something for Trent for Christmas.  Trent had told Madisen a couple of weeks ago that he wanted socks for Christmas.  So the conversation went like this:

Me:  Hey guys lets get something daddy for Christmas.  Do you remember anything that he has said that he wants?

Madisen:  Yes he said he wants

Jaden: (interrupting Madisen) I know! He wants that lion book!

Me: (Surprised that he even heard the conversation this morning)  WOW!  You have a great memory! ( I couldn't ever remember the name of the book!)

Jaden:  Yeah, The American Lion!  That's what he wants!!

I don't know where he gets it, but the kid has a great memory!

Cute Jaden.... it's amazing the things they pick up especially when we think they aren't listening

Better watch out! He's going to get out of alot and get what he wants becuase of that good memory. I really hate it when my kids bring up old promises that I can't remember and then I have to uphold them so I can be a mom of her word.
