Tagged

I guess I have been officially welcomed to the blogging community. I have been tagged. Now, I am a very boring person, so I'm sorry if I bore you to tears.

Here are the rules:
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning. B. Each player lists 6 facts/habits about themselves. C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asks them to read your blog.

1. I am very annal about being organized.
When I was growing up, my mom was the most dis-organized person I knew. Her cupboards were a disaster and she had Nick-knacks galore. I could not stand it and I would organize her closets and cupboards for her. As a result, I try to keep my things very organized. I clean out my pantry regularly, and my other cupboards at least once a month. It drives me batty when I go to my cupboards and they are all in disarray. I've had to have words with my husband, who trys to help out but then puts things away out of order.

2. When I was 15 my sister who was 11 and I flew to Spain, by ourselves.

Yes, I have to ask myself what my mom was thinking. I really don't know if I would send my daughter to a forgien country by herself at that age. But my mom and dad did. And the flight there was a breeze. But on the way back, we had a layover in Newark and then the flight was delayed and then it was canceled. here I was in a huge airport, traveling for the first time by my self with my sister. It was an experience I will never forget.

3. I don't wash my face before I go to bed.

Yes, it is true. This is me first thing in the morning. I am very lazy, every once in a while I will get in the "I feel like washing my face" mood and I'll do it for like a week, but then I quickly forget or get lazy and just go to bed with my make up still on. I'm told that this is the quickest way to age, but I just can't quite make a habit of it.

4. I don't like Chocolate

While most people especially women love chocolate. I do not. I have been asked many times why this is so, and the answer is I just don't know. My mom loves chocolate. But apparently this love of chocolate did not get passed on to me. If it has caramel in it than I can handle small amounts. But it is something that I can really live without. As a result Madisen isn't fond of it either, but when I was pregnant with Jaden, I could not get enough of it. One time I was with my mom and I told her that I was dying for a Candy bar and she dropped her jaw. I've never liked candy bars and there I was craving one.

5. When I was younger, I won 3rd place for the Triple Jump.

The story goes like this. I was at a track meet. And the long jump was one of my events. Well, at this particular meet then didn't have the long jump they only had the triple jump. So my coach signed me up for it without my knowledge. When I got to the race he told me I would be doing the triple jump. Which I had never done before. So he gave me a quick lesson on how to do it and sent me on my way. So I went did my thing. I didn't do bad but I knew I wouldn't be getting any medals, well I was wrong. You see there were only 3 girls that competed for the triple jump that day, and as a result I got a trophy for 3 rd place. So it's been a running joke in my family. I got a trophy for last place.

6. I don't like New Borns

Now I know this is bad, and sounds awful, but it's true. I love my own new borns of course. But all three of them have been A LOT of work. They have all been colicky, so while most people stop a mom with a new born to admire, I don't. I see one and think oh what a lot of work. Tatum is just now getting to the stage I like.

So now you know some of my quarks. I'm tagging, Carrie, Ariane, Celia, Brigitta, Ann and Lizzie. Have fun.

I don't know anyone else who doesn't like chocolate. What do you eat for enjoyment? Also, how nice not to have to wash your face at night and still have great skin. I get horrible acne if I don't wash and wear medicine. Good post!

How fun to learn more about you! I love that you are so organized, I am crazy about that stuff too. And--- I am glad to know that there is someone else out there that doesn't wash her face at night! I only wash mine in the shower in the morning. AND I've always had great skin. Crazy huh? That's also interesting about your trip to Italy. Did you go there to visit family?

Wow, we have so much in common. I am NOT all about newborns either. To me it looks awful. It reminds me of the aftermath of delivering a baby and all of the feelings that come with it. All I have to say is it's not like the movies.

I think we should go to an organizing help group. = )

I WISH I didn't like chocolate. Maybe then I'd look like you.

I never wash my face either. People will compliment my skin and ask what products I use and they never believe that I just go to bed with my make-up on every night.
