Tonight I am in mourning. What am I mourning you might ask? Well, it would be my little boys hair. When he was a toddler up to the age of about 4 I kept his hair very short. It was cute and it had little spikes. But then I decided that I wanted him to have long hair. So I worked very hard at growing it long. It grew and went through a few awkward stages but I finally had it perfected. I loved his hair. Trent has been trying to get me to cut his for a while now and I have refused. He has the perfect texture for long hair, and I do have to say he looks very cute with long hair. He also likes his long hair, or I should say liked. Tonight his daddy got a hold of him and brain washed him. Dad, along with big sister talked him into cutting his hair. The hold back? Mom! Nope I was not going to let it happen. But after much begging and pleading from Jaden. I gave in, begrudgingly. Dad knew what he was doing, he couldn't convince me so he talked it up and even through in that he use to do it too. Rrrr! As I watched my little boys beautiful hair fall to the ground I couldn't help but get teary eyed. His hair! It was gone!
So I thought I would take a trip down memory lane at Jaden's hair:

he looks like a totally different kid....but still completely adorable
I too, love the floppy hair! Some of my boys just look so cute in it. Luke's is way too long though, but I am afraid to cut it short because he will not be my little Lukie if I do. They grow up so much when you chopp off their hair.
he does look so different! But he will always be adorable because he just is. And it will grow. I know how you feel though- haircuts can be painful.
I agree, his hair is super cute long!
I had the same painful experience when Mark took all three boys and had their long shaggy hair chopped. I almost cried. I have to admit thought they didn't look that great in long hair and they look so good now
