My babies had their tonsils and adenoids taken out on Thursday. It was an all day event that started at 6:00 in the morning. Jaden was nervous but was ready to put on his brave face and do the surgery. Tatum didn't know what to expect. They both did great, except for some vomiting from Tatum, apparently she can't handle Demerol. But my good friend Zofran came to the rescue.

We are on day 3 of recovery, and so far they're doing great. Tatum wants food, but wont eat any of the soft foods she is allowed, she wants her "snacks" which is proving to be difficult, she doesn't understand why she can't have them and is having a very hard time with it. Jaden is fine as long as we get his vicodin in him in time. This morning he woke up and had gone 7 hours without it and was in screaming pain....did I mention they both hate the vicodin so getting it into them is proving to be difficult as well. But we are surviving. I'm sleep deprived, but hoping to catch up on that today.

Wow that all sounds awful and you have such a good attitude! I can't imagine seeing my kids in the hospital like that. Good luck with the recovery.
