Through Jaden's eyes

On Thursday I went to a Mother's day luncheon at Jaden's preschool.  One of the things that I love is the questioner that is on the table for us mom's to read.  I remember last year laughing at the answers he gave, this year was just as funny.

Top Ten Questions about your Mom....

1.  What is your Mom's name?

last year:  Audry  this year:  Audry 

2.  What does your Dad call your Mom?

last year:  Mommy  this year:  Audry (yes, it's true Trent does call me Audry and not Mommy)

3.  What does your Mom do?

last year:  Cooks & Cooks  this year:  she folds the laundry  (hmm...the things that make an impression.  The funny thing is last year I did spend more time on my meals and this year I have been trying to be better about folding my laundry....I guess he's noticed)

4.  How old is your Mom?

last year:  5  this year: 15  (I've age 10 whole years, in a 12 month period)

5.  What is your Mom's favorite color?  

last year: Green  this year: Pink  (it's actually yellow, but green was my favorite when I was in high school, and of course what little girl didn't have pink as their favorite color?

6.  What is your Mom's favorite thing to eat?

last year:  eggs  this year:  ribs  (I don't know where he came up with either of those)

7.  What is your Mom's favorite movie?

last year:  Harry Potter  this year:  Harry Potter (the only answer that was the same.  I'm still confused by this.  I've never even watched Harry Potter with Jaden.  I do love the books however.)

8.  How many brother's and sister's does your Mom have?  

last year:  no brothers just sisters 3 boys & 3 girls  this year: none  (I think this question confuses him, because I asked him at the luncheon who my brother was and he Kiko and then I asked him who my sister was and he said Brookie.

9.  Where does your Mom like to go for fun?  

last year:  the park  this year:  to the stores   (this makes me laugh because to him it feels like we are always going "to the stores" and he HATES it. )

10. What special message do you have for your Mom?

last year:  "I love you."  this year:  "I love you."

I know he does love me because he tells me all the time.  He is such a sweet little boy.
