When we lived in So. Cal, a typical Friday night was going to the mall to have dinner and window shop. It was a good old stand by when we wanted to get out of the house, but not spend a lot of money. When we moved to Brentwood, we tried it once, we went to the Antioch Mall and quickly found that it was a not a good idea. So, we've been trying to figure out what our new standby could be. Well, Friday we tried the mall in Tracy, while it is a small mall with Sears, and Gottchalks as department stores, it served it's purpose. We ate at the food court, the kids rode the carousel and played on the toys. And Trent and I got to window shop. I even got a couple of things at Old Navy. Aren't we an exciting bunch?

I like the Tracy mall. I think it is friendly. It could use a few more stores, but oh well. I forgot about the merry go round. I guess the East County mall is over with, huh?
When we lived in San Ramon we loved to walk around at the food court/ shopping area right off the freeway in Dublin. We never ventured off to Tracy, but it looks like a nice mall. It's hard to find things to do with the kids in tow. (unless you love Chuck E. Cheese's... no thanks!)
