It's the most busy time of the year

It's been a while since I've visited the blogging world. I've had a very busy couple of weeks. We got home from Thanksgiving and were home for 4 days and then we got back in our car and went to So. Cal. to paint 2 rooms in our house to prepare it for the renters. While we were there I celebrated my birthday. Trent's dad got a cheese cake from the Cheesecake Factory. White Chocolate Raspberry. My favorite dessert. And I went out to dinner with some friends from "home." When we got back my new friends took me out to lunch. It was very nice of them to think of me and to do that. I was very nervous to move and I have had a very hard time letting go of my wonderful friends from the Desert. But I have to say that these group of ladies have made my move and transition so much better. I have felt very welcomed and I feel like I can truly call them friends. Thanks you guys.

This is what Trent got me for my birthday.

I am no longer in the dark ages. This is my first Ipod

Next, my Aunt decided to come into town for a week(7 days). At the same time Madisen had a birthday December 6. 5 days after my birthday. It was on a Thursday so I had to make Cupcakes to take to her class, and I had to get last minute things for her party that was going to be on Saturday. I also took her to ChuckECheese on Thursday night. I had to make her birthday really special because last year she didn't get a party because I was dying from my pregnancy. The birthday party went really well. There were 6 girls there including Madisen. It was a Polly Pocket birthday party. The girls dressed up in Polly Pocket attire and they went on a Polly Pocket scavenger hunt. They also pinned the Flower on Polly and made picture frames.

We also bought our Christmas Tree and had

lots of fun putting it up while listening to Christmas music.

Yesterday for FHE we went to the temple to look at the lights. At home our tradition was to go the The Living Desert Reserve which is a Zoo. Wildlights is what it is called. They put xmas lights everywhere and they have Santa and hot coco. We've gone every year and we missed it this year so the Temple was our "wildlights" this year. The kids enjoyed it. But they did miss the Train and Santa.

I don't know how much blogging I'll be doing because now I have to get ready for Christmas. This year everyone is coming to our house. I'll have my mom and her husband. My sister and her husband and my brother and his wife and son. I'm excited to have everyone, but I have a lot of cleaning and organizing to do. Not to mention making menu's and shopping for food. Plus the rest of my gift shopping. Did I mention that Trent's birthday is in January? Yes, we are very stressed out this time of year.

Yeah, you're back! I love the pics. Aubrey still loves Polly Pockets and she's almost 9. The cake is adorable! That's cute how the girls dressed up as Polly Pockets, I wouldn't have thought of that. Your tree is gorgeous. Does it smell wonderful?

Sounds like you are so busy! How is it having renters? We have renters too becuase we couldn't sell our house in the desert. Now that the market has gone crazy I wish we wouldn't have bought another home before selling our other home. Just makes for more stress! I hope you have a great time with your family!
