4th

The day after we got back from Yellowstone was the 4th of July. The tradition is to go to the parade. We walked over from the hotel. The kids had fun with Tierra, Caden,, Brittany and George. They got candy and otter pops. Some one even gave Madisen a basketball. Trent's cousin's and grandparents were there as well.

The kids couldn't wait to light their fire works. The sun goes down late in Wyoming so it was Tatum's bedtime right about when we were getting ready to start, but Trent's Aunt Sherly gave us a room with a window that faced where the fire works were, so I put Tatum to bed took the monitor with me and sat and watched the fire works.

Trent's cousin bought about $800 worth. Then each of Trent's brother's bought some and we bought some as well. We had a very good display. Wyoming does not have any laws preventing fire works so the things that we had were really cool.

Madisen's favorites were the smoke bomb's and the sparklers. She is very cautious so she didn't like very many of the big things. She did light one fountain.

Jaden on the other hand could not get enough of it. He was running around wanting to light everything in sight. We had to keep an extra close eye on him because sometimes he would run right in front of something that was already lit. It was really fun to see him get so excited.

We really enjoyed our trip. It is always fun to visit our family in Wyoming.
