The sickly Homec's

I have not posted since almost the first day of school. My goal was to better about my blog, but life just keeps getting in the way. Lately I have been spending most of my days at one doctor's office or another. For some reason my family and I chose the months of August and September to having what ever ailment you can come up with.

• I have been having extreme neck and back pain.

So I went to the Chiropractor where I had x rays taken and found that my neck is straight instead of curving the way that it should.

• Way to fix the problem...chiropractor 3x's a week for 4 months. YIKES!!!! Did I mention that it's $55 a pop?! Who can afford that? SO, I went to my regular Dr in hopes of getting a referral. We will see what happens.

• Tatum had her annul leg apt.

I have to drive to Oakland for that. So I got Jaden out of school early and went to Oakland.(1 hour away) I waited for 45 min I asked what was taking so long and was informed that I would have to wait another hour before seeing the Dr. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I made this appointment a year ago. So I rescheduled I had to get back because I had someone taking care of Madisen. AHHH!

The following week I went back. Her leg is growing just fine....BUT, walking on your toes 80% of the time is not normal....she might have a syndrome that is common with babies who were born preemie. (Yes Tatum was 5 weeks early) So we have to keep an eye on it, and might possibly end up in a cast or surgery. Yes, Tatum has been my most expensive child from before she was even born. We won't know until she is 5 so for now that's the least of my concerns.....

• Madisen can't hear! (She can now but couldn't for about 2 months)

Wait! What?! Did I hear that right? Yes, you did. That took a regular Dr. and ENT and an Audiologist to figure out. She's fine, we don't know why she couldn't hear for 2 months but she can now and all her tests are normal. But wait there's more.... Now

• Madisen's back hurts...and it is right around her left kidney.

I take her to the doctor. Doctor does a urine test but because it is Friday gives us antibiotics and assumes it is a kidney infection. All is well. Right? WRONG! On Tuesday we get a call the culture has come back negative. But then why does her kidney still hurt? Don't know come back in. SO, we go back to the dr. and he sends us to the hospital for a renal ultra sound and blood work. We are still waiting for those results...

• Today we go to the ENT for Jaden and Tatum. It's a routine check up. They had surgery in March.

So let's see my count is 11 doctor appointments in a month and half. That does not include the othro and dentist app ts.
