San Diego

2 weekends ago we went to San Diego to stay with our friends. They have a beach house and invited us out. We had a great time.

For Madisen it meant being able to hangout with her good friend Mck. Mck and Madisen have been friends since they were in diapers. They truly are 2 peas in a pod. They get along very well. When we first started going back to the Desert to visit, Shari and I thought that when they would be reunited that there would be awkwardness between them, but they proved us wrong. There never has been, when they get together it's like they were never apart. It is very cute to watch. Trent usually does not get to see this so, he was amazed by it. As a result 90% of the pictures taken were of these 2 cuties.

For Trent (due to the fact that Mark had a unexpected business trip)it meant spending time reading and relaxing, and keeping kids busy.

It also meant hanging out with 2 women and 6 kids 1 babysitter. Thanks for putting up with us. :)

For Jaden it meant laying around and hanging out with Luke.

For Tatum, it meant going to the beach where there is sand, that she hates!

She did not like the water at all.

She warmed up to the sand....

Over all it was better experience at the beach than last time.

For me it meant hanging out with my Great friend Shari. We talked until all hours of the night, went shopping and to dinner and we braved the cold water to boogie board, something I have not done since I was a teenager.

We had a great time. Thanks Shari for inviting us to come play. Mark, next time no last minuet business trips! :)
